GCA DSW 4800 Software Backup

• Plug external Iomega Zip Drive into electrical outlet.
• Load Zip disc into Zip drive.
• Computer ALT+F1 (setup/config. mode).
• Computer Menu: <File> <Exit> (to dos prompt).
• Dos prompt: backit {{ (runs backit.bat in root directory).
• Backit.bat batch file will automatically run software to assign a drive letter to the Zip drive and then copy the entire contents of the stepper computer hard drive to the Zip disk.
• Upon completion of the copying process, remove the Zip disk from its drive and unplug power from the Zip drive.
• Reboot the computer by switching it off for 30 seconds and then switching it back on. This is necessary to remove the Zip Drive TSR software from memory.
