Eli and Nechama came to College Park to open the Chabad
Center in the summer of 1995. They have been loving
every moment since then and so has the College Park
campus!
 | Eli born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, studied in New York, Connecticut and France. He received
his Rabbinical degree at the United Lubavitcher Yeshiva in N.Y. When not studying,
teaching or directing Chabad programs, Eli enjoys reading, playing hockey, and answering
his E-mail.

| Nechama was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in the Lower Merion section of
Philadelphia. She studied at the University of Delaware and the Machon Chana Institute in
N.Y. Nechama is well known on the campus for her delicious homemade foods and Shabbat
treats. She is also a nursery school teacher in Silver Spring, Md.
