Extension/Elaboration

 
 
 1. The students will follow written directions to draw a graph.
2. The students will write a description of a graph.

 Paper and pencils

Evaluation   

1. Each student will create his or her own graph and write a description of the graph.  
2. Next, the students will exchange their graphs with each other and try to figure out how to move in front of the motion detector to re-create the graph.  The students will take turns recording each other’s movements, thus checking their partner’s work.
