The Famous Lavender Cookout
The lavender cookout has become a Haystack tradition. Normally held on the Tuesday night of Haystack week, Jim Holloway started this tradition several years ago. It is so popular that others have crashed the party. In 1999, the party was no longer restricted to the "festive" set, yet to this day has a very exclusive (yet ever-expanding) list of invitees!
Partiers gathered 'round the dining room table at 1860 Pacific Avenue.
